How to get to Skiathos / Directions to the property
There are plenty of charter flights to Skiathos from a number of European countries as well as flights with Olympic Air and Sky Express from Athens.
There is a daily ferry and catamaran service from the ports of Volos and Agios Konstantinos on the mainland. If you are coming from Athens over land or from the South of Greece, Agios Konstantinos is the nearest port whereas if you are coming from Thessaloniki or the North of Greece, the port of Volos is closer.
Skiathos international airport and the port are only 13 km away or a 20-minute drive from the property.
The taxi rank at the airport is situated outside the arrivals hall and at the port is just by the ferry arrivals area on “Ethnarhou Makariou Street”. The cost to get to Magda is approximately €28.
Should you use the local bus, you need to alight at the “Stamelos” bus stop, which is situated next door to the supermarket “First”. Take the concrete road between the supermarket and Stamelos bar and after about 100 meters there is a dirt truck on the left hand side that leads to Magda.
If you are coming by car, follow the ring road and head towards Koukounaries. After about 12 kms on the right hand side you will pass the Skiathos Palace hotel; about 300 meters further on, look out for the Super Market “First”. Then follow the directions as above.
