Accommodation
A winding track from the village of Koukounaries leads you to the quiet cluster of Magda studios and apartments on the beautiful Greek island of Skiathos. They are set on the edge of a pine forest and have greenery in every direction, so it goes without saying they come with pretty incredible views. And because they are so tucked away they are quiet too yet they are only a few minutes walk away from shops, restaurants and beaches.
The 16 units in total are built on a large private land amongst pine and olive groves with private parking area. There is a large swimming pool, a smaller kids’ pool (both constructed according to strict European Union safety standards) and a sun terrace, which comes with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. Spread out from the pool area to the edge of the forest are some beautiful gardens, which are cared for by the owners of this lovely complex.
Step inside the studios and apartments and the scene is simple and traditional. Whitewashed walls and wooden furniture give the rooms a distinctly Greek feel although after a recent renovation some units feature a bright and neutral design while the superior studios feature a stylish design with bright touches.
The studios sleep 2-3 people and the apartments sleep 2-5 people with one or two bedrooms. They have either twin or double beds (the apartments have additional sofa beds) wardrobe and a dressing table, a small table and chairs, fully equipped kitchenette including electric rings and a small oven or a cooker, kettle, toaster, filter coffee maker, electric juice extractor, hairdryer, air-conditioning/heating and safety deposit box at a charge, shower and wc, balcony or terrace. An iron and ironing board are available for communal use as is a baby cot and high chair. Late check out is possible on request and pets are welcomed.
